School Picture FAQs

Portraits will be taken outdoors, weather permitting. Please dress your child for portraits regardless of weather. If the decision is made to postpone, you will be notified by the school of a rain date. In the event of rain again, the portraits will be done inside.

What should my child wear for pictures?: Our photography looks best when your child wears solid, primary or pastel colors. We suggest avoiding white, neon, geometric prints, clothing with large logos or other extremely bright prints. They tend to distract from the child being photographed.
Ordering envelope and payment: Please complete all information on the order envelope and enclose payment of cash, check or MO.

DO NOT COMBINE PAYMENTS for multiple children in order envelope. Each child MUST have there own envelope.

Please have cash in exact amount as we can not make change on picture day.
Is it too late to order a package?: No, it is not too late.

If you missed sending an order in on picture day, please send directly to the studio address within one week of picture day.

There will be a late fee of $10 thereafter.
What if my child missed picture day?: Your child’s school will notify you of the scheduled Makeup/Retake Day. Your child can be photographed then without any additional cost to you. The Makeup/Retake Day is scheduled after the original photo packages have been returned to the school.
How long does it take to process the picture packages?: Your pictures will take approximately 4-6 weeks from picture day to be returned to the school for distribution in your child's classroom.

Note: Class photos will be distributed separately after Makeup/Retake day orders are processed to include all. (elementary schools)
Can more portraits be ordered after the package is received?: Yes! Additional prints can be ordered by filling out the enclosed re-order form and mailing it directly to the studio with payment. (The form can also be downloaded below)
Retouching: Optional retouching is available for an extra cost. The retouching softens facial blemishes (acne) and smooths the skin. It does not cover teeth whitening, cuts, bruises, flyaway hair, glare on glasses* or any clothing issues.

*We do our best to minimize glass glare and color change from transition lenses, but due to the highly reflective nature of modern lenses it may not be possible to prevent these issues.
What if I am unhappy with my child's picture?: Customer satisfaction is our priority and we stand behind our portraits 100%. If unhappy with the portrait package received, and the school schedules a Retake Day, simply have your child sit for a retake.

Simply fill out the retake form included in the package and return it along with the original, undamaged portrait package to school on or before Makeup/Retake Day. (form can also be downloaded below)

Should you still be unhappy with the package or if there is no retake day offered (Spring pictures), we will issue a full refund upon receipt of the original, undamaged package. Please follow the same instuctions as above and add "REFUND" while including your mailing address.
Class pictures: Class pictures are complimentary. Elementary school class pictures will be delivered through the classroom teacher once all make-up pictures are delivered.
